Emancipation Day Celebration

Held in Boonville’s Harley Park, the Boonville get-together is the only daylong, public Emancipation Day celebration in Central Missouri. A long tradition of family reunions, great food, good entertainment and lots of memories will fill Harley Park, all thanks to Concerned Citizens for a Better Community. It is the CCBC that ensures the continuation of Emancipation Day as well as numerous other projects honoring Boonville’s black history.  This year it will be held from August from 6pm – 5th.
